Welcome to Virtual Summer Camp 2023
New classes for summer!
Fun with Academics is offering our Fun with Programming and Fun with Code and Art series of classes online with live instructors! We give students a fun experience and increase their exposure to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and STEAM (add Art), highlighting practical use of the scientific method and demonstrating how technology and the arts can intersect. Students will gain an appreciation for programming and see how easy it is to learn. In addition to using their artistic and creative skills, they will learn how to break down and analyze problems as they debug their code.
We have developed a toolset where the use of a coding collaboration platform allows us to work side-by-side with each student, just like we were sitting right there next to him/her, guiding in the right direction and checking over work. To ensure that each child gets individual attention, we will have a ratio of 1 staff to no more than 5 students. Our classes are great for beginners and continuing students, and no prerequisites are required. Students must have access to a computer at home with an internet connection.
